SYDNEY - An Australian teenager who spit seven months at sea became the youngest person to sail solo non-stop and unassisted around the sphere.

Sixteen Jessica Watson sailed into Sydney Shield on Saturday after completing a journey of 23,000 nautical miles.

Thousands lined the port of Inspire Watson passed by her on the port in its 34-foot yacht roses. She puts his foot down on the first 210 days in which it docks at the Opera.

Watson struggled against 40 foot waves and multiple knockdowns during his gallivant, which had its northeast by the South Pacific and across the equator, south of Ness Horn at the tip of America south across the Atlantic Ocean to South Africa, through the multitude of Indian and southern Australia.
